We charge by the hour. This includes both in-shop & on-site repair appointments.
Persons that inquire about ESTIMATED total labor cost quotes by phone or email are made/given by us in ESTIMATION without actually seeing the machine in person, and without any unforeseen issues/neglect that most machines do have.
It is just impossible to give an exact labor cost and exact labor time to repair your machine(s) without actually seeing machine(s) in person, or even just going by what you, the customer, describes as its problems.
Due to age and much often NEGLECT found from not properly maintaining or long term non-use of the machine(s) in question over time, when discussing your repair, if we feel the device just cannot be repaired properly, or in a timely fashion on-site, we will suggest having it dropped off or picked-up for in-shop work to be properly & thoroughly performed.
We are a taxable business in Connecticut and are required by law to collect sales & use tax (6.35%) for any repairs performed, as well as game sales made in the State of Connecticut.
If you are outside of our travel area you also have the cost saving option of dropping off your machine for repair. Also, when discussing your repair, if we feel the device just cannot be repaired properly, or in a timely fashion on-site, we will suggest having it dropped off or picked-up for in-shop work to be properly & thoroughly performed. We have had many machines brought to us from LONG distances for In-Shop Services…
Potential out of area customers are also encouraged to drop off your machine at our shop in New Fairfield, CT. This can also be a cost saving option to you…If bringing the machine to us is NOT an option for you, and depending on what you have, we can pick-up/drop off/set-up for an additional cost – please inquire for these situations.
ALL machines that are dropped off for in-shop repair/refurbishment, a deposit is required due at time of drop off. This deposit will be applied to your final Invoice/Bill total. Please contact us for more information.
